After completing her Ph.D. at University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Ewing came to Oklahoma in 1982 to teach biology. In addition, she has been a health professions advisor since 1989, serving as President of the Southern Association of the Advisors for the Health Professions, and as a Board of Directors Member of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions . Dr. Ewing is nationally known and respected as a health professions advisor. She is also an award winning teacher.
