For example, if you are interested in medicine as a career, choose Medicine from the pull-down menu on the right and you will see how to proceed with course selection and curriculum planning at UCO. Many students preparing for careers in health professions will go on to receive graduate degrees before they become licensed. Therefore, they should be satisfying requirements for a baccaluareate degree at UCO. Although a specific major is not required, students must demonstrate strengths in science, math, compassion for people, and knowledge of the health professions they choose to enter.
